How and Why of the Resolution
This is how the book Monster ended. Steve was in a jail cell not really in jail just waiting for his trial the next day. There was a lot of angry people in the jail and Steve didn't like it. Steve was nervous; he didn't want to be in jail for 20 plus years because he hadn't even lived for that long. The next day, at the trial after all that time Steve was found innocent. Five month later, Steve found an interest in filming and living a happy life in Harlem. Here's what happened to the other characters involved in the robbery: James (King) got 25 years to life. Osvaldo was found innocent, but five months later he was arrested for stealing a car and was sent to a reformatory. Bobo was also in jail.
My Prediction on How the Book Will End
How I thought the book I was reading Monster by Walter Dean Myers was going to end was that I didn't really know how the book was going to end because it was going in circles because it was mostly about a trial and a robbery. They kept asking the characters questions and getting info on the case. But was thought that Steve Harmon, the main character, was innocent because his part wasn't that big. It was hard to tell how the book was going to end because the structure was confusing.
How the Main Character Changes
Then Steve went to court had a along long trial did a lot of thinking about himself. Steve Harmon didn't want to be in that situation anymore or put his family in it either. How Steve changed is he is more smarter about his actions and thinks before doing now. That is how the main character changes from the start of the book to the end.

A Realistic Novel
Walter Dean Myer's book is realistic because its happening in a court room about a case that happens everyday robbery/death. The court trials are real because there using real ideas. How the robbery happened is realistic because its happens daily and its realistic because there is a chance of the owner dying. Another way this is realistic is how the way the the robbery went down. Somebody keeps watch, a guy watches the door and the ring leader does the robbing. that is how I think the book Monster is realistic.
A Minor Character in "Monster"
A minor character in Monster by Walter Dean Myers is the main characters Steve's parents. What the parents part in the story is there seen angry at the the the district attorney Sandra Petrocelli. Why Steve Harmon dad Mr.Harmon is mad at Sandra Petroclli is because she trying to finalize the decision and labeling Steve a monster. Steve's mother was seen crying in a room. How Steve Harmon's parents feel about him is they believe he is innocent and Steve knows he innocent too.
The Main Conflict of "Monster"
The problem around around the book Monster by Walter Dean Myers is that the main character didn't do the killing but was involved in the process. The main character was pressured to take part of it and some other people too. What i think how the conflict might be solved is Steve the main character is going to be in jail and lose the trial. There also calling the main character Steve a murderer when he didn't kill the guy. and they called Steve a Monster too I think that is why the book is called monster.
The Main Character of "Monster"
The main character is named Steve Harmon he is sixteen and on trial for murder. Why he is on trial is because of a robbery gone wrong the owner died. The protagonist people are Bobo the person who killed the owner the prosecutor and Osvaldo. How the main character Steve is like is that he lived in a poor area goes to high school, black and 16. What I know about the main character right know is hes on trail for something he thinks he didn't do. The sentence is 25 years or more. What the book says he hangs around a gang but part of it.
The Opening of "Monster"
How the first chapter is like is its in a courthouse the book is mostly about a trial going on in the court.
Why its about a trial is b/c Steve and some other people had a plan to rob a gas station. The person in charge of the plan was a guy named BoBo he is 22 while the rest of the people are younger in there teens. other people are Osvaldo, and others. Steve thinks he is innocent because his job was to just stand and keep watch. The owner of the gas station got killed that's why the trial is so harsh. The owner wasn't supposed to get killed tho. most of the people didn't want to rob the gas station but the were just scared of Bobo because he threatened to break there houses and hurt there relatives.

Why I Chose "Monster"

I choose Monster by Walter Dean Myers because I read some of it a long time ago and the cover seems interesting. Something in first chapter was the main character Steve was seen walking on the street and a background story to him. I didn't finish this book when I first started it. I only read the first two chapters of it. I do not remember what happened in the story. It was 5 years ago or something. The book is OK so far. I don't know how it is going to end--I didn't get that far--but what I think it is going to end bad. Lastly, what I think about how its going to end is maybe the guy's going to act like a monster or something like that.
