How the Main Character Changes

This is how the main character Steve Harmon changes from the start of the book to the end. In the beginning of the book Steve was looking for money this was in Harlem place where the main character lives in. so he met Bobo and made a deal to sell cigarettes with a robbery. Bobo said if he was not there he was going to do something to Steve and his family and house. Steve went to the robbery as a look out.

Then Steve went to court had a along long trial did a lot of thinking about himself. Steve Harmon didn't want to be in that situation anymore or put his family in it either. How Steve changed is he is more smarter about his actions and thinks before doing now. That is how the main character changes from the start of the book to the end.
